A CCH Tagetik Case Study
Gilgen Door Systems AG, a Swiss supplier of automatic door and gate systems with over 1,100 employees and since 2011 part of the Japanese Nabtesco Group, needed a new corporate reporting solution after the acquisition. The controlling team faced the challenge of meeting the Japanese parent’s specific reporting requirements while accommodating very different bookkeeping setups across subsidiaries and keeping data entry simple enough for non‑finance users.
The company implemented the CCH Tagetik CPM platform, using an Excel‑based import that required no complex interfaces and supported both the parent’s cost‑of‑sales reporting and local cost analyses. The result was faster, more efficient consolidation, standardized decentralized data entry and validation, equal handling of actual and plan processes, and the quick creation and distribution of forecast templates and scenarios, supported by CCH Tagetik partners.
