A CCH Tagetik Case Study
CZ Health Insurance, one of the Netherlands’ largest not‑for‑profit health insurers with 3.5 million customers and about 20% market share, faced increasing Solvency II regulatory requirements that exposed weaknesses in its spreadsheet‑based reporting. Annual reporting, internal cost allocation and XBRL filings relied on many Excel and Word files, creating manual work, inconsistent data, lengthy audits and limited transparency.
CZ selected Tagetik’s pre‑packaged Solvency II solution and extended a unified data model to cover annual reporting, integrating Word documents with live figures and built‑in XBRL delivery. In about nine months the insurer moved to a single, auditable reporting platform with validated, consistent data, managed workflows and version control—significantly reducing manual effort and reporting time while meeting statutory and Solvency II requirements.
