A CCH Tagetik Case Study
Carmeuse, a privately owned Belgian manufacturer of lime and limestone founded in 1860, faced limitations with its legacy SAP landscape—using SAP BW for consolidation and reporting and SAP BPC for planning. The systems were rigid and unmaintained, preventing new scenarios (like sub‑consolidations and cash flow reporting) and lacking a single, flexible interface, integrated reporting and long‑term vendor support.
Working with partner Element 61, Carmeuse implemented CCH Tagetik for consolidation, budgeting & planning, production cost planning & control and collaborative office. The platform unified consolidation and planning, enabled distributed responsibility across regions and the group, improved data control and reporting with a graphical workflow, and delivered the flexibility and roadmap the company required—results the BI manager recommends enthusiastically.
