A CCH Tagetik Case Study
BAS Trucks, a fast‑growing international truck sales, leasing and after‑sales group, faced a major profitability challenge because personnel costs represented about 70% of operating expenses. Planning was done annually in isolated Excel files (one user per file), producing many draft versions, limited security, and only aggregated forecasts — making comparisons slow, error‑prone and preventing timely cost control and capacity planning.
BAS Trucks implemented Tagetik’s HR planning solution in a three‑month project, adding rolling forecasts, version management, security and integrations to link operational and financial planning. The result was faster, more accurate budgeting and close processes, bottom‑up budgets to the lowest level, KPIs such as cost per workshop hour, detailed cost/price and capacity analysis per employee, and a single point of truth for reporting and analysis.
