Case Study: Australian Turf Club achieves streamlined, driver-based event budgeting and rolling forecasts with CCH Tagetik

A CCH Tagetik Case Study

Preview of the Australian Turf Club Case Study

Australian Turf Club - Customer Case Study

Australian Turf Club (ATC) runs four premier Sydney racecourses and more than 100 race-day events each year, plus numerous non-race-day functions. To move away from slow, error-prone spreadsheet forecasting tied to its Race Day Calendar, ATC needed an event-based planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting solution that would speed up cycles, enable rolling forecasts and support a five-year plan.

KPMG and the CFO Group implemented CCH Tagetik across 32 finance and business users to integrate the annual budget, a two‑year rolling forecast, five‑year plan and monthly management reporting. Automated ETL imports actuals, driver-based calculations sync with the Race Day Calendar, and multiple scenarios can be run—delivering faster, more accurate budgets and forecasts, continuous feedback on rates, reduced cycle times and easier expansion into cash‑flow, consolidation and analytics.
