Anthony Veder Group N.V., a major Dutch gas-shipping company based in Rotterdam with a fleet of 30 gas carriers operating across LPG, LNG, CO2 and ethylene segments, faced slow, error-prone financial and management reporting. Reporting was done in many customized Excel spreadsheets with limited drill-down, weak controls and fragmented data from multiple systems, making monthly consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and management analysis time-consuming and risky.

Working with Improven, Anthony Veder implemented CCH Tagetik to centralize data, build a unified metadata model, ETL and consolidation rules, and automate uploads and validations from MS Dynamics AX. The solution created a single source of truth, sped up the monthly close and reporting, improved intercompany matching and data quality, and freed finance teams to focus on deeper analysis and trend insights.
