A large organisation faced the challenge of modernising its core operational policing systems. Its mainframe applications lacked flexibility and modern features, hindering the delivery of data to a new Linux/Oracle platform. The organisation partnered with CCA Software to implement a solution using the RDRS (tcVISION) data integration tool, aiming to gain new functionality and phase out its mainframe.

CCA Software provided implementation services and ongoing support, using RDRS to replicate data to the new Oracle platform. This resulted in near real-time data synchronisation, making operational data and new PowerSearch and reporting tools available to police staff.
