United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) built a new Al Ain campus designed to be a “paperless” and “inkless” learning environment across more than 55 buildings for roughly 20,000 students and staff. The challenge was to deliver unified AV/IT, campus-wide communications, timetabling and wayfinding at scale — including real-time room schedules and digital signage — without faculty having to bring personal laptops. CAYIN Technology was engaged as the digital signage/vendor partner to provide the signage and Wayfinder components of this solution.

CAYIN Technology’s signage platform was integrated by Visionaire with Arrive InfoPoint/ArriveTouchPoint and the campus ICT backbone to deliver unified digital signage, interactive room schedules and navigation across the campus. The integrated deployment (including 2,500+ wireless APs, 25,000 IP ports, 477 Smart Interactive Whiteboards and 1,500+ devices on the Arrive CloudPoint server) enabled faculty to access central applications from touchscreens outside rooms, remove the need for local presentation devices, and improve communication and navigation across the campus — delivering measurable scale, centralized control and a paperless classroom experience.
