Shih Hsin University, a leading journalism and communications school in Taiwan, saw an early need for narrowcast and a refreshed way to communicate with staff, students and visitors. In December 2005 the university engaged CAYIN Technology to deploy a digital signage solution using CAYIN SMP-WEB media players to create a new campus communication channel.

CAYIN Technology installed 11 CAYIN SMP-WEB media players in the university’s historic entrance tunnel, converting the space into an active digital forum that invites student contributions and public announcements. The CAYIN Technology deployment established a visible, continuously updated platform for campus communication—11 devices transforming the tunnel into a regular public forum and improving engagement among staff, students and visitors.
