Persada Convention Centre, Malaysia’s newest convention facility with halls that can seat up to 3,000, faced the challenge of managing daily functions and frequent schedule changes across multiple rooms without the cost and delay of reprinting announcements. To address flexibility and total cost of ownership concerns, Diversified Technology introduced CAYIN Technology’s SMP-PRO2 digital signage solution for the centre’s function rooms.

CAYIN Technology implemented a networked system using 12 SMP players managed by a central CMS, allowing events to be scheduled in advance and updates to be pushed centrally or remotely. The solution—integratable with SMP-WEB and SMP-WEBPLUS for weather and database features—delivered measurable operational improvements (12 deployed players supporting the main halls), significant time savings for staff, and eliminated the need to change or reprint announcement boards.
