Onze-Lieve-Vrouwziekenhuis Aalst faced the challenge of creating an efficient information‑delivery platform in a new building to improve service levels, boost interactions, and give patients and visitors a more comfortable experience. The hospital selected CAYIN Technology’s digital signage solution, specifying SMP-WEBPLUS players (and SMP-WEBPLUS-T modules) to drive the deployment across reception areas.

CAYIN Technology implemented eight SMP-WEBPLUS players to control ten NEC 40” and 65” displays, delivering real‑time information such as doctors’ names, departments and visiting hours and enabling future touch‑screen interactivity. The system gave OLV Hospital instant, remotely managed content updates via a web interface, simplified administration, and reduced costs—resulting in higher visitor satisfaction and clearer wayfinding as reported by hospital staff.
