i-mobile Shop Impresses Shoppers by CAYIN In-Store Digital Signage

i-mobile Shop, the retail arm of i-mobile Company Limited and Thailand’s largest mobile phone distributor with around 80 branches, sought to improve its brand image, better promote products and services, communicate offers more efficiently to shoppers, and monetize in-store ad space. To achieve this, i-mobile Shop partnered with CAYIN Technology, deploying CAYIN’s digital signage solution including SMP-PRO3 players and a CMS-MINI server.

CAYIN Technology’s implementation installed 28 LCD displays across selected i-mobile shops, with SMP-PRO3 players in each store and a centrally managed CMS-MINI server at head office delivering content and schedules via VPN. Since going live in July 2008, the system has attracted more viewers, expanded the distribution channels for marketing and partner products, enabled i-mobile Shop to sell advertising space to third parties, and contributed to increased sales revenues.
