FamilyMart - Customer Case Study

FamilyMart in Taiwan sought to introduce in-store TV across its high-density convenience outlets and selected CAYIN Technology’s digital signage solution to meet the needs of a large-scale rollout. The initiative, decided in 2006, aimed to provide dynamic, in-store media for shoppers and passersby and required a vendor capable of managing hardware, content and operations across many locations.

CAYIN Technology deployed its digital signage platform—including server hosting, content updates, playlist management, live system monitoring and reporting—rolling out around 3,000 screens and players across roughly 1,500 stores (most with two 32" LCD displays) in 2007. The system delivered daily news, commercials, tickers and Flash banners, ran every day for more than a year (to Aug 2007), and provided a reliable, scalable channel for eye-catching promotions and operational reporting.
