Bologna Congressi, part of the BolognaFiere group, needed a way to improve on-site communication and advertising across its five venues and 30+ meeting rooms while coping with limited auditorium capacity. CAYIN Technology supplied a digital signage solution—deployed in Italy via Kennell Digital Distribution—including 10 SMP-WEB players, 2 CMS-MINI servers and 42" and 50" plasma displays to provide an integrated information and advertising platform.

CAYIN Technology’s system was installed at receptions, conference rooms and the congress cafeteria to display live information on hosting companies, meeting schedules and room usage, and to deliver targeted advertising. The platform also streams live video from the main auditorium to other conference rooms to increase the number of viewers, resulting in more efficient event communication and a scalable signage and streaming capability for Bologna Congressi.
