Balfour Beatty Plant & Fleet Services, based in Derby, UK, needed a reliable, networked digital signage solution to display company metrics, balanced-scorecard data and internal communications across multiple sites. Working with audio visual specialist NAV and distributor SignLabs, they selected CAYIN Technology’s Linux-based digital signage system—deployed as SMP-WEB3 x6, SMP-PRO3 x2 and a CMS-MINI server—to provide a bespoke, scalable solution.

CAYIN Technology’s system now drives content across 12 Panasonic professional plasma screens, delivering performance dashboards, balanced-scorecard metrics and employee communications that have boosted morale (e.g., event photos, MD messages) and led to a planned regular TV slot. The project was delivered on time and on budget, increased visibility of performance across the business, improved staff engagement, and is attracting interest from other parts of the Balfour Beatty Group.
