Balfour Beatty, a leading international infrastructure group, sought to fully digitize its accounts payable process by creating an automated three-way match of purchase orders, GRNs, and invoices. They partnered with vendor Causeway Technologies, with whom they had a long-standing relationship using the CausewayOne e-Invoicing solution, to address this challenge and improve operational efficiency.

Causeway Technologies implemented its Causeway eGRN solution, which digitalizes Goods Received Notes and Proof of Delivery documents. This created a fully automated three-way match and a single source of truth for Balfour Beatty. The measurable results included processing over 17,000 GRN/POD notes, which led to an increased payment provision of up to two weeks for suppliers and the solution being active on over 230 sites.
