Trinity Grace Church (TGC), a network of neighborhood parishes in New York City, set out to plant a new parish in Crown Heights and needed seed funding to begin operations. To meet a targeted launch budget of $30,000, the team ran a focused 30-day crowdfunding campaign on CauseVox, using storytelling and a campaign video to introduce their mission and mobilize supporters.
Using CauseVox’s campaign page, video box, and progress counter, TGC built anticipation, leveraged social media, and enlisted support from other parishes to drive traffic and donations. The campaign exceeded its goal—raising $32,822—while the platform’s ease of use and the community’s buy-in strengthened local engagement and provided funds to support practical neighborhood programs.
