CauseVox customer Thomas Morstead’s What You Give Will Grow foundation faced a sudden, time‑sensitive fundraising opportunity after a viral Reddit post encouraged Vikings fans to donate in recognition of Morstead’s sportsmanship. With very little time to mobilize, the foundation needed an easy-to-launch site that could collect donations, display real‑time progress, and fuel social sharing.
Using CauseVox, the team launched a campaign site quickly, enabling fast giving, live progress updates, and social engagement. The result: thousands of donors, media coverage, and more than $150K raised (surpassing $170K within 48 hours), the campaign hit its goals and delivered significant support to Children’s Minnesota’s Child Life program.
