A CauseVox Case Study
The New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA) is the Olympic-development and event umbrella for cross-country skiing across New England, run by a small full-time staff. Their annual fund is a long-standing tradition, but managing the online campaign in-house was time-consuming for the executive director and limited their ability to expand reach and engagement.
NENSA used CauseVox to handle the campaign mechanics while focusing on strategy and messaging—recruiting key fundraisers (a coach and a U.S.–team athlete), launching at a consistent time, and promoting a short video via email, Twitter and Facebook. The month-long drive raised over $60,000 overall (with $20,020 raised online through CauseVox), generated 219 donations, averaged $253 per gift, and saw personal pages raise significant amounts (top page $3,600), while freeing staff to concentrate on outreach.
