She’s the First - Customer Case Study

She’s the First is a nonprofit that funds scholarships for girls in low-income countries and in 2013 launched Run the World, a peer-to-peer fitness fundraiser with a $50,000 goal. With just three full-time staff and heavy reliance on volunteers and fitness-studio partners, they needed a centralized, easy-to-use online hub to drive donations, foster friendly competition among participants, and consolidate social-media and campaign updates for a largely Millennial audience.

Using CauseVox, She’s the First built a branded, polished fundraising site with simple personal and team pages and social integrations that enabled tracking, sharing, and friendly competition while centralizing communications. The inaugural Run the World raised $42,106, produced many participant milestones and new studio partnerships, and continues to run annually on CauseVox.
