Pensacola Habitat For Humanity Women Build Campaign

Pensacola Habitat for Humanity launched a Women Build program in 2013 to engage women in fundraising and homebuilding for local families, but as the campaign grew their basic website and plugins could no longer support the scale and functionality they needed. By 2016 they sought a low‑maintenance, user‑friendly peer‑to‑peer platform that supported team fundraising, easy donor access, and minimal technical overhead.

They selected CauseVox, which offered team fundraising, customizable campaign pages, and simple profile creation, letting participants fundraise independently while staff focused on outreach. The 2017 Women Build campaign raised $84,606.03 with 140 personal fundraisers over 70 days (with no dedicated fundraising staff), exceeded goals for two years running, and benefited from a clear cause, strong in‑person engagement, and easy access to the donation site.
