Neverthirst’s WOD For Water - Customer Case Study

Neverthirst is a nonprofit founded in 2008 after Mark Whitehead witnessed a village in South Sudan without clean water; the organization has since facilitated 2,000 water projects and provided clean water to about 300,000 people across the Central African Republic, India, South Sudan, and Cambodia. Their WOD for Water CrossFit fundraising challenge, run in partnership with Iron Tribe Fitness, gave them access to hundreds of donors but left them with no reliable way to capture donor information or maintain relationships, forcing each year’s fundraising to start from scratch.

Using the CauseVox platform, Neverthirst’s small team built a branded campaign hub and participant pages without coding, enabling them to capture donor data, nurture relationships, and turn one-time donors into ongoing advocates. In their first campaign on the platform they surpassed a $200,000 goal—raising $217,889 to build 87 wells in India—and have since run 37 WOD for Water events across the U.S. powered by CauseVox.
