The Junior League of Atlanta (JLA) relaunched its annual Little Black Dress Initiative to raise awareness of generational poverty and set an ambitious $50,000 fundraising goal. Wanting to modernize the effort, JLA partnered with CauseVox to add online peer-to-peer fundraising and faced the challenge of recruiting and supporting personal fundraisers, streamlining donation processing, and keeping momentum throughout the week-long campaign.
JLA combined CauseVox with a focused personal-fundraiser strategy—recruiting 82 fundraisers, setting a $500 starter goal, running an educational kickoff, providing a detailed toolkit and daily one-on-one support, hosting midweek socials, and using corporate matching challenges—to simplify back-office tasks, boost outreach, and drive urgency. The result: the campaign raised nearly $80,000, comfortably surpassing its original target.
