How A Food Bank Created A Holiday Giving Guide With CauseVox (& Raised +$50,000)

North Texas Food Bank, a hunger-relief organization serving 13 North Texas counties and supplying food to more than 200 partner agencies, needed a fresh holiday fundraising approach to engage donors and better showcase program-specific needs. They moved away from an items-based giving guide to a donation-driven Holiday Giving Guide that would highlight child hunger, senior hunger, family meals, and nutrition education—aiming to make it easy for supporters to give and share.

Using CauseVox they launched four targeted campaigns with embedded videos, social sharing, email blasts, site widgets, and a custom domain to keep the experience on-brand. Over a 50‑day campaign they raised more than $50,000—funding over 150,000 meals—while discovering donation-based campaigns plus strong social promotion outperformed previous item-based efforts.
