Amigos de las Americas (AMIGOS), a nonprofit that develops young leaders through immersive cross‑cultural programs, struggled with fundraising tools that weren’t intuitive for student and alumni fundraisers and created heavy back‑end work for staff. AMIGOS adopted CauseVox plus Zapier to automate data flows, clean donation data, send instant internal notifications, and sync records to Salesforce—then cloned those workflows for new campaigns. The result: dozens of campaign sites (26 quickly, 33 total), hundreds of engaged volunteers, more than $600,000 raised in 2018, and significant time and cost savings by eliminating manual data work and outside developer needs.
