Pet Lovers Deploys 100-site SD-WAN, Eliminates Firewalls with Cato Cloud

Pet Lovers Centre, a leading Asian pet retailer with 65 stores in Singapore, 23 in Malaysia and 5 in Thailand, needed a low-cost, fast way to connect and secure 100+ stores and franchises. Managing local firewall appliances and the cost of MPLS proved too slow and expensive, so the company evaluated and selected Cato Networks’ cloud-based SD‑WAN and Firewall-as-a-Service (Cato Cloud).

Cato Networks implemented Cato Cloud to converge networking and security, replacing branch firewalls with a cloud-delivered SD‑WAN and FWaaS and enabling centralized policy and visibility. The rollout covered 100+ sites (deploying two to three stores per day), eliminated appliance management, delivered immediate self-service policy changes and tighter web control via a single dashboard, and reduced MPLS and upgrade costs while improving overall security and manageability.
