Paysafe Replaces Global MPLS Network and Internet VPN with Cato Cloud

Paysafe, a global provider of end-to-end payment solutions with 21 locations and over 2,600 employees, faced a fragmented WAN after mergers and acquisitions: a mix of MPLS and Internet VPNs prevented full meshing, caused Active Directory replication and access problems, forced users onto mobile VPNs, and made site rollouts slow and costly. To address this, Paysafe engaged Cato Networks and adopted the Cato Cloud SD‑WAN (with Cato Socket appliances) to replace its MPLS and disparate VPN infrastructure.

Cato Networks delivered a converged, fully meshed backbone that improved performance and simplified operations: latency between Cambridge and Montreal dropped by about 45%, throughput doubled versus MPLS/Internet VPN in tests, and new site deployment shrank from weeks to roughly 30 minutes. Paysafe has already connected multiple sites (11 deployed, with more rolling out toward 21) and reports roughly 30% cost savings versus its previous six‑site MPLS network, plus faster cloud access, integrated security, and stronger business continuity.
