Kyocera Senco Improves Availability, Continuity and Manageability with SD-Wan Solution from Videns

Kyocera, a Netherlands-based specialist in fastening solutions, was operating a self-built WAN that delivered good performance but could not guarantee continuity — once leaving systems offline for half a day. Seeking improved availability, simpler IT management and less dependency on internal skills, Kyocera engaged Videns, which recommended and helped evaluate the Cato Networks SD‑WAN solution.

Cato Networks’ cloud-based SD‑WAN, deployed with Videns’ support, replaced the legacy network with an integrated platform combining SD‑WAN, security (virus scanning, filtering) and internet breakout, removing the need for expensive branch hardware. The Cato Networks implementation delivered a stable WAN, higher continuity and availability, reduced reliance on individual staff, better cloud performance and simpler management, plus cost benefits from using basic on‑premises equipment.
