HIS Group Simplifies and Strengthens Global WAN Security and Connectivity with Cato

HIS Group, a Tokyo-based global travel and hospitality enterprise with 233 retail outlets in 141 cities across 66 countries, struggled with fragmented network security across headquarters, subsidiaries, and affiliates. Before working with Cato Networks, the company relied on multiple hardware appliances that were difficult to manage, required periodic refreshes, and made it hard to maintain visibility and consistent security across its global WAN.

Cato Networks implemented Cato SASE Cloud, including SD-WAN, secure remote access, and integrated security capabilities such as SWG, CASB, DLP, ZTNA, and FWaaS. The result was simplified global network and security management, faster deployment for new locations, stronger visibility, and seamless remote work support during COVID-19 with no reported business impact. HIS Group also eliminated recurring hardware refresh cycles, benefited from PoP redundancy, and noted improved speed, ease of implementation, and overall security posture.
