BioIVT Connects and Secures Global Network with Cato Cloud and the Cato Managed Threat Detection and Response (MDR) Service

BioIVT, a provider of biological products with 14 locations across the US, UK and Belgium, faced slow, appliance‑based networking and security gaps that hampered M&A integration, ERP and Office 365 performance, and remote access. Their legacy Cisco VPNs required lengthy per‑site tunnel configuration (about 90 days) and left the company exposed to Internet‑borne threats. After evaluating SD‑WAN options, BioIVT selected Cato Networks’ Cato Cloud and the Cato Managed Threat Detection and Response (MDR) service to address both networking agility and security.

Cato Networks deployed Cato Sockets and the Cato Cloud backbone plus built‑in security (firewall, SWG, IPS) and Cato MDR for managed threat hunting and response. The result: deployment times dropped to as little as 30 days per site, application responsiveness (Sage ERP, Active Directory sync, Office 365) and 8x8 voice quality improved, and Cato MDR discovered multiple pieces of malware missed by antivirus—enabling faster remediation and ongoing monthly incident audits. BioIVT now runs all sites on Cato and benefits from integrated threat blocking, SOC‑driven remediation, and reduced administrative overhead.
