Case Study: SUEZ Consulting improves BIM collaboration on the Trois Rivières WWTP extension with Catenda Hub

SUEZ Consulting used Catenda Hub for Trois Rivières WWTP extension in Clermont-Ferrand, France

SUEZ Consulting, a consulting and engineering firm, faced the challenge of managing a complex €55 million renovation and extension of the Trois Rivières wastewater treatment plant. The project involved multiple design offices and construction companies, requiring a robust collaborative solution to ensure synergy among all stakeholders. They implemented Catenda Hub, an open Common Data Environment (CDE) from vendor Catenda, to serve as the central platform for their BIM approach.

Using Catenda Hub allowed all project stakeholders to collaborate effectively by uploading, visualizing, and commenting on models in an open BIM environment. This solution resolved 26 critical issues, significantly reduced the number of in-person meetings and associated travel costs, and better integrated the client into the process. The success of the project and its collaborative approach was recognized when SUEZ Consulting was awarded a Silver BIM award for their work.
