Legendre’s Digital Transformation with Open BIM The Taden UVE case

Legendre Group, a major French construction firm, faced significant collaboration challenges on its complex 132 million euro Taden UVE refurbishment project. The project involved multiple teams using different software and languages, making interoperability a necessity. To avoid the inefficiencies and costs of closed, proprietary systems, Legendre partnered with vendor Catenda and implemented its open standards-based Common Data Environment, Catenda Hub, as their central platform for collaboration.

The solution centered on Catenda Hub's ability to seamlessly connect all stakeholders, from designers to on-site crews, by making digital models easy to access and use. The results included improved work quality and reduced on-site stress, with the team citing specific feedback that the models made complex tasks like piling work easier. Catenda's platform was so successfully adopted that subcontractors began proactively requesting access. This open BIM approach, powered by Catenda, is now a pilot for Legendre's company-wide data strategy.
