Geoplan 3D Digitizing 45,000 m² of a World Heritage with Catenda Hub

The customer, Geoplan 3D, was tasked with digitizing Hydroparken, a large UNESCO World Heritage industrial site, to improve its management and utilization. They faced the challenge of accurately capturing 27 historic buildings covering 45,000 square meters within a tight schedule. To manage this complex project, Geoplan 3D utilized the collaborative platform Catenda Hub from the vendor Catenda.

The solution involved a phased process of 3D scanning and modeling, all coordinated through Catenda Hub. This enabled efficient communication, rigorous quality assurance, and clear collaboration between experts, which the vendor Catenda provided. The project was completed in roughly nine weeks, saving a significant amount of time that would have been lost to poor communication and resulted in high-quality digital models for the client.
