Egis Group, a major engineering firm, faced a challenge on the Marseille tramway extension project. Their digital 3D models were difficult for non-specialist team members to access and understand, which hindered collaboration and technical reviews. To overcome this, they implemented the Catenda Hub platform from vendor Catenda.

The Catenda Hub solution provided a common data environment accessible via a web browser, allowing all stakeholders to view models and collaborate. The platform enabled teams to create and manage over 370 technical issues directly within the 3D model, streamlining reviews and improving decision tracking. This fostered collective intelligence and transformed the model into a central collaboration point, demonstrating that the model could be leveraged daily by the entire project team.
