AFRY Successfully Integrated VREX with Catenda Hub for the Sydskogen School Project

AFRY, an international engineering, design, and consulting company, used the Catenda Hub platform (formerly Bimsync) for open BIM collaboration on the innovative Sydskogen School project. Their challenge was to enhance project review and issue detection, particularly as COVID-19 restrictions limited their ability to conduct in-person collaborative sessions.

The solution involved integrating VREX with Catenda Hub, a process noted as very quick to implement. This integration allowed BIM coordinators to review models in virtual reality, syncing issues directly into the Catenda Hub platform using BCF. The use of Catenda Hub and VREX led to the discovery of an additional 50 errors that were previously unseen with other tools, improving the overall quality and coordination for the sustainable school building.
