Teachers Pay Teachers Calls Upon Catchpoint to Continue Delivering an Outstanding User Experience as It Expands its Offerings

Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) is a teacher-founded marketplace with over 5 million teacher-created resources and more than 7 million users. Facing record demand—especially during the shift to remote and hybrid learning—and expanding its product offerings, TpT needed to rethink performance to ensure availability, surface front-end issues earlier, get better geo-specific visibility, and reduce time-consuming cross-team troubleshooting as it scaled.

TpT expanded its use of Catchpoint synthetic monitoring to run proactive health checks (including at the API gateway), create repeatable tests, and integrate alerts into PagerDuty and Slack. This gave teams a single source of truth for performance, sped incident detection and debugging, streamlined the on-call experience, and supported rapid scaling decisions—helping TpT maintain reliability while serving hundreds of thousands of additional teachers.
