To maintain the speed, scalability and consistency required by its hybrid architecture of internal and third‑party components, Priceline needed continuous synthetic monitoring to detect performance bottlenecks, validate SLAs, evaluate vendors, and simulate real user experiences while minimizing internet “noise.”
Priceline partnered with Catchpoint to run widespread synthetic tests, deploy enterprise nodes for first‑mile baselining, use request overrides for “what‑if” scenarios, monitor SLAs and long‑term trends, and integrate results with Splunk, Slack and Okta.
