Catchpoint’s Global Observability Data Helps Demonstrate Value for Acquia

Acquia, which provides a cloud platform and the Acquia Cloud Edge CDN, needed an unbiased, easy-to-use digital experience intelligence (DEI) tool to demonstrate how sites perform with and without their CDN from global locations. Their goal was objective, shareable analytics that sales and solution teams could use to prove performance improvements and support customer evaluations.

Acquia partnered with Catchpoint to run synthetic benchmarks from 520+ global nodes, using configurable test templates and features like filmstrip, waterfall charts, multi-browser testing, and percentile statistics, then sharing results via custom reports or public URLs. Catchpoint became integral to Acquia’s pre-sales and evaluation process, delivering independent, global performance data that validated the CDN’s value, aided troubleshooting, and made ROI conversations more credible.
