CardConnect is a payments technology company that helps businesses securely accept and manage credit card transactions via its CardPointe platform (web UI, point-to-point encrypted terminals, and APIs). Faced with the need to guarantee 24/7 availability, validate SLAs, replicate both internal and customer-facing experiences, and monitor internal services like VPN and email, CardConnect required a comprehensive, granular testing and monitoring strategy.
CardConnect partnered with Catchpoint and deployed OnPrem nodes inside the firewall and in AWS to run synthetic UI and API tests, DNS checks and server-health monitors (TCP, FTP, etc.), all accessible through a custom dashboard that slices performance data and compares historical trends. The result: faster root-cause identification, large time savings for operations, earlier detection of issues during rollouts, and improved SLA validation and customer experience.
