European Wax Center partnered with the gamification vendor CataBoom to boost local engagement and drive appointment bookings for its new store openings. The challenge was to maintain customer interest during the period between a new store announcement and its grand opening day.
CataBoom implemented a beautifully designed gamified experience that educated customers through a quiz and scratch-off mechanic. The campaign concluded with a spin-to-win game that rewarded participants with a coupon, successfully collecting customer data. The solution from CataBoom delivered significant results, including 4,303 games completed and 4,826 emails collected, with a 97.7% email completion rate.
