Ferguson Leverages Castlight to Build Connection and Plan Ahead

Ferguson, a nationwide distributor with more than 1,400 locations and 25,000+ associates, needed to keep a dispersed workforce informed, connected, and healthy as COVID-19 forced many employees to work from home. The company required a centralized, timely way to share pandemic guidance, promote preventative care, and sustain engagement across its teams.

Ferguson expanded its Castlight program (launched 2017, moved to Castlight Complete in 2020) to centralize communications, post targeted messages, and deploy new benefits— including a healthy-eating/activity partner program, a weight-management program (≈14,000 registered users), and a planned steps challenge. Early results show strong engagement: ~2,000 Community visitors since launch, >70 posts in the first two weeks, and 52% of registered associates engaging monthly during the pandemic.
