PMMC accelerates cloud modernization of five applications with CAST

PMMC, a leading provider of revenue cycle management software, faced a challenge in modernizing five interconnected legacy applications for a move to Microsoft Azure Cloud. With the original development teams no longer available, they lacked the architectural knowledge of how the applications were built and depended on each other. To regain control, they turned to vendor CAST and utilized its CAST Imaging product to automatically reverse-engineer the applications.

CAST implemented its solution by using CAST Imaging to create a single source of truth, automatically generating interactive blueprints that mapped all objects and relationships within the software. This allowed PMMC's development teams to quickly visualize the inner workings and dependencies of each application. As a result, CAST enabled PMMC to clearly understand the as-is architecture and prepare the applications for their cloud modernization.
