LTIMindtree, a Mumbai-based IT services firm with over 83,000 employees, was asked to evaluate and bid on a major re-architecture for a property-casualty insurer (≈30,000 employees). That enabled detailed inventories, complexity metrics and accurate scope and effort estimates, completing evaluation in 60 days (vs. 80), winning the transformation deal, and establishing a living knowledge base that now speeds impact analysis, sprint planning and reduces ongoing maintenance effort by about 10%.
