SmashFly, a provider of an Enterprise Recruitment Marketing Platform, needed to move core parts of its product to Microsoft Azure PaaS but lacked visibility into the cloud readiness, code complexity, application health and open‑source framework vulnerabilities across its 50‑application portfolio. Without objective insight, the company could not prioritize which apps to refactor or plan a reliable, rapid migration.

SmashFly used CAST Highlight to rapidly scan all 50 applications, producing a baseline of cloud readiness, complexity and risk that informed refactoring plans and educated delivery teams. Integrated with Azure DevOps and GitHub, CAST’s analytics were embedded in the SDLC so teams could rescan to track remediation, reduce complexity and technical debt, and accelerate a smoother migration to Azure PaaS.
