BCG supported a global consumer client that had rapidly expanded a healthcare services unit to 5,000+ clinics across multiple brands. The client’s cloud-native practice management system, integrated with legacy environments, was delivering limited value because of poor data quality, operational inefficiencies, product-tech misalignment, and rollout issues, putting ROI at risk. BCG was brought in to diagnose the path forward, focusing on architecture and code quality using CAST Highlight and CAST Imaging.

BCG used CAST Highlight, CAST Imaging, and a DDP-based architecture review to run AI-assisted technical assessments on 5M+ lines of source code and lead 10+ workshops. CAST helped surface actionable findings on efficiency, security, modularity, maintainability, and Azure cost impacts, which refined requirements and technical design, improved the business case, and increased confidence in major investment priorities for the high six-figure program.
