The Leading Multi-Category Retailer, a North American automotive, houseware, and sports retailer, had spent three years struggling to modernize its business-critical homegrown data warehouse management system. The large monolithic application, built on 11 million lines of C/C++ and an Oracle database, was difficult to maintain and scale, prompting the retailer to look to CAST and CAST Imaging for help.
