How a Non-Profit Used Low-Code to Send More Kids to School

Seeds of Hope of Northern Colorado is a nonprofit that has helped 23,000 students with $35M in aid by providing need-based scholarships through 34 partner schools. Facing an inflexible, frequently broken tuition-allocation system that couldn't handle varied family deductions, the organization needed a better way to calculate and allocate the right-size grants for low-income families.

Director of Allocations Gina Wilson built a custom tuition right-sizing app on Caspio’s low-code platform, enabling quick, code-free customization and easier maintenance with support resources. The new app streamlined scholarship calculations, saved time and money, improved accuracy in grant allocations, and positioned Seeds of Hope to develop more apps to support students, schools and parishes.
