A. Schulman, a leading international supplier of high performance plastic compounds and resins, needed to improve cash management across its global operations. Before working with Cashbook, the company faced fragmented banking relationships worldwide, manual vendor payment entry, slow cash application, no regular customer cash collection process, and no electronic payment capability from its ERP system.

Cashbook implemented its Cash Application and Payments modules, integrated with A. Schulman’s BPCS ERP and later extended through Client/Server and shared-service deployments. The solution automated statement imports, cash allocation, bank file generation, and real-time ERP updates, while supporting multiple banks, SEPA, and audit controls. As a result, A. Schulman achieved complete ERP-to-bank integration, unprecedented automation across several countries, and a major reduction in manual effort and resources required for Cash App.
