TGI Friday’s, the global casual dining chain, needed a better way to manage high-volume bank and credit card reconciliations across 46 stores. Before working with Cashbook, the team handled all reconciliations in Excel, had limited reporting, and faced the cost and complexity of outsourcing bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts.

Cashbook implemented its Bank Reconciliation Module, integrating with TGI Friday UK Ltd.’s SAGE ERP and bank statements to automate matching of bank, store, and credit card data. The result was over 75% automation in match rates, more than 50% fewer staff required, and over 75% time saved in cash management, reducing the process from 2 full-time staff to 1 part-time person.
