Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the Middle East’s largest events and exhibitions complex, needed to analyze and prioritize risk across expanding venue, exhibition, hospitality and facilities operations, identify control gaps and test the reliability of system reports. To meet these challenges, Dubai World Trade Centre selected CaseWare Analytics and its IDEA® Data Analysis software (including IDEA SmartAnalyzer) to extend audit scope and deliver more comprehensive internal audit reviews.

CaseWare Analytics deployed IDEA to analyze data across multiple systems, enabling DWTC to examine 100% of relevant data, increase audit coverage, identify control gaps and validate system reports. Using IDEA SmartAnalyzer’s pre-packaged analytics for the general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets and inventory, the audit team uncovered cost-saving opportunities, saved audit time and reported a clear return on investment for the business.
